We’ve been using Google Docs for collaboration for quite some time here at Brandon Hall Research. As a virtual team, it’s saved us a lot of email exchanges. I’m sure you’ve got a bunch of documents being shared since nearly all of us are now “web workers.” But I’ve grown weary of Google Docs now that my docs have surpassed 50. That’s why Pamela Poole’s note that”Google Groups and Docs are totally lame” caught my eye. Poole reviews Planzone, a project management tool, and details some of its features. One of the thing that stands out to me is the ability to migrate data from her Google Groups and Docs, as well as an MS Project file. That means I don’t have to reinvent the wheel to try it out. I’ll report back on how it works out in my own blog. (JC)
