Nice post from Tom Kuhlmann about contrast as a design principle.
He mentions four visual-design principles: contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity.
It’s an interesting point that course design involves design principles that are not necessarily rooted in instructional design or learning theory.
It brings to mind the wonderful book Universal Principles of Design.
