New Book Demystifies Motivation

by Richard Nantel on December 18, 2009

Bob Sutton reviews Dan Pink’s new book, “DRIVE: The Surprising Truth About What Motivates Us.” According to Mr. Sutton:
“Dan does a masterful job of boiling down the results of a huge body of behavioral science research, presenting in way that is extremely engaging, and showing how it has profound implications for managers, teachers, parents or anyone else who wants to motivate others.”
Getting learners moticated to learn, and team members motivated to contribute positively
I’ve added this one to my book wish list. (RN)

We’ve all dealt with unmotivated learners and team members who do the bare minimum in their jobs. This book may contain helpful information on how to address these issues.

The book will be available in two weeks. I’ve added this one to my book wish list. (RN)
