Thanks for the Word Clouds, Janet. Cool idea! There are academic lists of instructional design proficiencies and real-world opinions from the trenches of required competencies. One of these days I’d like to compare the two lists and see how well they correspond. I’ve certainly learned a lot from this conversation, which took place on The eLearning Coach as well as through a LinkedIn group. The conversation also validated a lot of my thoughts about the diverse skills needed for this field, since no one but us has any idea what we do =)
