MIT Wins DARPA Balloon Hunt in 9 Hours

MIT DARPATo study the power of networking DARPA raised 10 eight-foot red balloons at different locations around the U.S. on Saturday.

The game was simple: locate all of the balloons.

MIT won in under nine hours.

MIT set up an incentive system to reward the locators, but also the inviters of the locators, the inviters of the inviters of the locators, and so forth.
