Karl Kapp on the Future of Learning

Karl Kapp has given the eLearning Coach blog a two part interview about  the future of training and learning technologies. Although he still talks about “instructional design,” he also speaks about the need to get away from the idea of classroom and into the world of learning by doing things. I tend to see instruction as epitomized by “frontal teaching” in classrooms, so I would like to see us talk about “learning design”, as in the title of the second interview. Nevertheless, I agree with his perspective and conclusions, and recommend that you give both parts a read. (GW)
