Moodle As an Airport

by Tom Werner on November 23, 2009

Zaid Ali Alsagoff sees Moodle as an airport (hub), as opposed to a ‘total solution.’

Strengths that he sees of Moodle:

  • Quiz engine.
  • Calendar.
  • Glossary.
  • Tracking.
  • Peer-learning.

What he sees Moodle is not:

  • Not a total online campus management solution for your university.
  • Not an excellent content development tool.
  • Not a concurrent users’ king.
  • Not a Web 2.0 sensation.

A helpful and straightforward post. (TW)
