Some of these overlap, so I would include digital textbooks and gaming curricula.

    Hi Cristina-
So, Web 2.0 elements built into digital textbooks and gaming?

Perhaps Renée was referring to this when she talked about networks, but what comes to mind are internal social exchanges. Much like at Thomson Reuters which we saw demonstrated last week at LearnTrends by Charles Jennings and Andy McGovern.

    Hi Dawn,

When I outlined my thoughts on “networks” I was talking about “personal learning networks.” I feel that learning professionals will play a major role in facilitating these connections. They will need to utilize social media tools that assist in determining the best connections for employees in order to increase an employee’s opportunity for meaningful informal learning. I know Facebook, Linked In, and SharePoint 2010 have functionality that will aid corporate trainers in these efforts.
