Note on Canada’s educational system: education is governed by each province, not nationally. CMEC is composed of the Ministers of Education from each province & territory and has no regulatory authority.

More information on Cdn post-secondary institutions is available at: http://www.aucc.ca/

Accreditation remains each provincial government’s mandate, but agencies like http://www.mphec.ca/ assist with this.

FriendFeed is kind of simmering in the background for me. When I make a point to use it, it’s really a wealth of info., humor, and the totally absurd. Your post, of course, a ‘wealth of info’ as always.
