Collaborative Knowledge Management Project in Second Life

by Gary Woodill on November 12, 2009

Dr. Alex Heiphetz, CEO of AHG Inc. (and with whom I recently co-authored a book) is looking for companies who are involved in Second Life, and who are also interested in collaboration using virtual worlds. He is assembling a group of companies with Second Life programs interested in collaborative knowledge management or collaborative applications of SL to participate in the evaluation program of a new collaborative knowledge management tool.

If you have a project in one of the following areas, please contact Alex:

    * a company’s knowledge base
    * development of e-learning modules
    * personnel reviews and testing
    * new hire orientation program (organizational structure / career paths)
    * brainstorming meetings (collaborative thinking and mind mapping)
    * project management

You may also have other interesting applications of Second Life that could benefit from collaborative work and the availability of graphical interactive representations of a concept, procedure, process, or structure. If so, then please check out the details of the program at http://tinyurl.com/collaborate-in-SL.

More information can be also found at http://tinyurl.com/cKM-tool. (GW)
