Harvard blogger David Armano provides six social media trends to watch in 2010:
- Social media begins to look less social
- Corporations look to scale
- Social business becomes serious play
- Your company will have a social media policy (and it might actually be enforced)
- Mobile becomes a social media lifeline
- Sharing no longer means e-mail
Mr. Armano suggests that with 70 per cent of organizations banning social media access within the workplace, people will turn to their smartphones to get their media social fix, spawning an even greater adoption of mobile devices. (RN)
