Create Software Demos With ScreenToaster

by Richard Nantel on October 20, 2008

ScreenToaster is a new Web service that allows you to record and playback your interactions with a Web site or desktop application. Just launch the service, start the program or visit the site you wish to demo, record your interactions, and the demonstration is saved in Flash format to the ScreenToaster Web site.

You can then share the link to the recording with others or embed the resulting screencast into a Web page, your blog, etc.

Desktop-based applications such as this have existed for years and have been popular tools for software simulations. Now we’re seeing more and more Web-based versions appear. (RN)
