Robert Scoble has an interesting post that argues that there are three phases of any purchase: 1. Need generation, 2. Research, and 3. Purchase. He then neatly ties in social networking and says that “adding social networking features to your corporate sites helps your users through the research phase of the buying process.” Interesting idea that I will bring up at our marketing meeting today.
