Accenture Finds that Recruiting in Second Life Is Cost-Effective

by Tom Werner on August 22, 2008

Erica Driver of ThinkBalm reports that Accenture’s investment in a Second Life island for recruiting paid for itself after 5-6 events.

Accenture launched the careers island in March 2008 (Slurl).

>> Having Accenture’s multiple locations use the same centralized Second Life island helped with the ROI.

>> Using the same Second Life island also helped standardize recruiting procedures.

>> It was important to provide help to Accenture recruiters as they became accustomed to Second Life. (TW)
