Mobile technologies increase productivity and hours worked

by Janet Clarey on July 27, 2009

Kelly Services global survey looks at opinions about work and the workplace from a generational viewpoint. Findings:

  • 84% say technology has boosted personal productivity
  • 75% see mobile devices as a positive development
  • 33% work are working longer hours
  • 55% are happy with current work-life balance

When looking across generations, all are experiencing efficiency gains with Gen Y workers out front. Hardly shocking. I can say that because it’s 8 PM Sunday. (JC)
