There is a new ebook from Plastic Logic that is similar in functionality to the Amazon Kindle, and even has some unique features. It runs on AT&T’s 3G network, and will likely have WiFi capability as well. For content, readers can choose from Barnes and Noble’ s 700,000 electronic books, compared with only 300,000 available for the Kindle. It supports more than books and magazines; it will also support document formats such as PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. (GW)
