Is being connected an acceptable part of engagement or does it make you a ‘bad student?’

This is a good rant to read if you think that people who are online during a speech, meeting, class, etc. are not paying attention. It’s all about the new engagement associated with being connected. It doesn’t really matter whether you agree with the writer of the post or not. It does matter that you understand how people learn. (JC)
