Liberting computing from the confines of the computer

29iht-design_600Here’s an article from the NY Times this weekend called Reinventing Interaction. I’m not sure why it’s in the Fashion & Style section but anyway, it’s about designing interactive experiences “that can come in different physical forms and be shared with other people.” I totally agree with the idea of shared experiences being better experiences and can see so many interesting possibilities when designing instruction. Phillip Tiongson and Jared Schiffman, the co-founders of Potion, are the New York interaction design firm featured in the article. Displayed is their interactive wine bar. (JC)
