Socialtext is a collaboration platform with core capabilities that include social networking, blog/wiki workspaces, a personalized home page dashboard, and social “Twitter-like” messaging. Socialtext, who previously offered a free trial and a per-user pricing structure only, is now offering their hosted version free for groups of up to 50 people. This is a great option for smaller companies and groups. An Adobe Air desktop application can provide access without having to access the web version making this an even more attractive solution.
