I aware of all the different forms of social media, but that doesn’t mean that I use them well. Take LinkedIn for example. I mainly link to industry professionals, and use Facebook for family and friends. Probably not the best strategy.
I know the basics of LinkedIn, but really don’t have the time to delve into its finer points. Robin Broitman, however, is there to help – with this long post that is a superguide to LinkedIn. It includes:
- Tutorials and How To’s
- Tips and Advice
- Tools
Thanks, Robin. I wish all my posts were this useful. (GW)

I’m curious why you don’t think that’s a good strategy? Is it because it’s more time consuming to manage two profiles, or is your work and personal life fairly intertwined, so it makes more sense to just use one social network?
