Learning Circuits’ survey on Learning Management Systems is definitely worth a look (184 responses).
Here are some findings:
- 91 percent are using an LMS.
- Most (67 percent) say their primary reason for an LMS is to centralize the management of learning activities.
- Most (59 percent) say the most valuable feature of their LMS is assessment and testing.
- Most (47 percent) say the biggest challenge with their LMS is customization requirements.
