Gender and Blogging

The Brandon Hall Research Innovations in Learning Conference held two sessions specifically on women and blogging. Both were led by Janet Clarey, our star blogger, who is both prolific and provocative in her blog writing. Janet also wrote a blog post on the issues, entitled “On Growing Facial Hair”, in response to a recent list of 25 Great Edublogs that only included blogs by 3 women. So far, Janet’s post has 14 comments and counting.

Michele Martin, who was a participant in both conference sessions, discusses the issues raised in the two sessions, and the discussion on Janet’s blog.  Thought provoking material worth reading. (GW)
