New Media Literacies is a research project within MIT’s Comparative Media Studies program. Their central goal is to engage educators and learners in today’s participatory culture. They are funded by MacArthur Foundation’s Digital Media and Learning initiative. They have a collection of videos on new media literacies that is valuable if you’re trying to understand how you can better support learning in a new environment that contains content generated by users.
