“we’ve given up on things that take time. What was inside you was once what counted; now it’s your connections to things outside of you. No one cares where you’ve been; everything rides on where you are going.”
What do you think? Is the new measure of success “spotting fragments out of the void?” Gosh, I hope so. I didn’t want to have to read The Intellectual Devotional that I bought some time to keep up with the intellectuals.
What could this mean for workplace learning? A lot of what was “inside” is now “out there” for the world. Helping people sift through and make sense of it all is more in tune with the current work environment. (JC)
