Interactive Ontario, an association of multi-media, serious games and e-learning producers in Ontario, Canada is having an afternoon event on Thursday, Feb. 19, from 4:00pm to 6:30pm at the Ontario Investment and Trade Centre, Seminar Room, 250 Yonge Street, 35th Floor, Toronto, ON M5B 2L7.
Entitled Bridging the Gap: Serious Games to Game-Based Learning, the event includes a presentation by Kam Memarzia of PlayGen, a Q&A session, and a networking reception at the end. The cost is $25.
This event will:
• Explore serious games, virtual worlds and simulation-based learning applications as they impact learning and engagement
• Examine the important drivers shaping this field including new technologies and changing appetites among service users and innovators.
• Build a collective view of the state of the field – how are we learning and adapting to the changing landscape of digital training? (GW)
