David Miller at subQuark points us to a large number of instructional videos on how to build objects and interactions in Second Life. If you’re planning to start experimenting with Second Life as a learning platform, this is a great place to start. (RN)

Thank you for the recognition. Indeed, I truly believe that Second Life can act as a way to create 3D animation. It is easy to see it as an immersive environment because it is.
But it is also a 3D application that happens to be sharable. Economics, budgets, and time constraints make it an ideal tool for creating video quickly and easily.
More videos will follow and for any serious educational endeavors, I routinely donate land for exploration of the viability of Second Life for adding engaging media into eLearning.
Knowledge is key to exploiting the tools and technology available to eLearning providers. Brandon Hall is a wealth of actionable information both in formal reports and these blogs.
Thank you for adding information on a tool that can be used right now for very little money and minimal time. Creating eLearning that is more engaging and results in greater retention adds real value to your eLearning and accomplishes its goal.
If our users are able to accomplish their tasks more easily and with greater efficiency, then we are being of true service.
