Social Network Analysis & ROI

by Janet Clarey on January 28, 2009

Barry Liberts summarizes a Wall Street Journal article that describes social analytics and its use within organizations.

Some points he took away from the article:

  1. Social networking within enterprises is not just for marketing. It can be effectively used for HR as well.
  2. Contrary to most skeptics’ beliefs, there is measurable ROI for social media.
  3. In order to stay competitive in today’s social media landscape, organizations need to be thinking about social analytics.
