by Richard Nantel on December 2, 2008

ASTD asked a number of thought leaders to provide their opinions on what learning and talent management will be like in 2020. Predictions are  provided by:

  • A.G. Lambert, vice president of marketing and product strategy, Saba
  • David Wilson, managing director, Elearnity
  • Matthew Bowman, vice president of sales and marketing, Wi5Connect
  • Kevin Oakes, CEO and founder of the Institute for Corporate Productivity
  • Harold Jarche, principal, Jarche Consulting
  • Jay Jamrog, senior vice president of research, i4CP
  • Bonnie Hagemann, CEO, Executive Development Associates
  • Diane Valenti, president, Applied Performance Solutions
  • Gordon Fuller, global design & development leader, IBM Center for Advanced Learning, Media
  • Dick Stottler, Stottler Henke
  • Jane Hart, social media & learning consultant
  • Peter Capelli, professor of management, University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business
  • Rob Lauber, vice president, Yum Brands Inc.

The rate of change in the learning field is accelerating at an increasing pace. It’s courageous to try to predict five years ahead, let alone 12. Great stuff. (RN)
