How to Turn a Wall Into a Whiteboard

by Richard Nantel on June 29, 2010

I recently had my office redesigned. Gone is the massive oak desk from the 1940s. Gone is the 1970s Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In color scheme. In is a glass desk, grey and white color scheme, and a stark, minimalist style. If I as much as leave a paper clip on my desk, the room looks messy so I’m strongly motivated to keeping it neat.

I wish I had known about IdeaPaint during the makeover because I would now have an 8 x 12 foot whiteboard in my office. IdeaPaint creates the same slick surface as a common whiteboard.

…the product [works] with every dry-eraser marker and every colour of every brand sold …  it [meets] environmental regulations.

This could be a great, low-cost and low-tech learning tool for any organization providing classroom-based sessions. (RN)

I just used IdeaPaint to decorate my son’s room in our new house. It worked well but could probably use an additional coat if I had more $$$. It is great to be able to write on the wall and I think it would be a fantastic addition to any office!!

Does your son resent the fact that mom is always doing org charts and mind maps on the wall of his room?

There’s also Markee™ Dry Erase Paint, which is less expensive.

I’d like to discuss a software that enables teachers to develop learning lessons very easily using very good and easy tools.
