Usability Guru Jakob Nielsen Dissects the iPad

by Richard Nantel on June 4, 2010

Jakob Nielsen has been writing about usability for decades. He now turns his analytical eye to the newest of technologies, the Apple iPad. Mr. Nielsen has just published a free 93-page report on the tablet device.

According to Mr. Neilsen:

Apple’s iPad has usability problems, and shows an “overemphasis on aesthetics”

This is a valuable article and report for anyone who works on developing the presentation side of content. This includes course designers, application developers, among others. (RN)
