Measuring the impacts of training: transactional and user data

B.J. Schone has been researching a product from KnowledgeAdvisors called Metrics That Matter, a system that integrates with an LMS (partners here) to automate the evaluation process. Of course, many LMSs do not have functionality to measure Kirkpatrick Levels 3 and 4. (Level 3 measure how well the trainee “applies” their learning on-the-job. Level 4 is a measurement that shows how the training helps meet organizational goals.) Metrics That Matter indicates that they can automate Levels 3, 4, and 5 (ROI) by “wrapping technology around methodologies.” (JC)
