Growth-Driven Organization (GDO) Assessment

The GDO is based on the principle that every company wants to transform their operational core competencies into sustainable competitive advantages.  Based on Brandon Hall Group’s extensive research, companies have ten major channels to create this linkage.  We call these channels the Ten Major Focus Areas for Growth.

Our GDO Model is compromised of ten major focus areas:

  • Profit Optimization
  • Revenue Maximization
  • Client Retention
  • Client Acquisition
  • Product/Service Mix
  • Competition
  • Market Trends
  • Sales Force Effectiveness
  • Marketing Impact
  • Corporate Alignment

We work with our research member clients to assess each functional area and map the value creation in each of the ten areas by assessing the synergistic relationship between people, processes and technology.  The four major rankings for each area are as follows:

  • Emerging
  • Developing
  • Best Practice
  • Best in Class

We conduct Growth Focus Groups with key stakeholders combined with data collection through our proprietary assessments and provide industry benchmarks based from our extensive repository of research.

The data and information sets will then be used to populate our findings and recommendations.  This will allow the client to baseline each functional area as Emerging, Developing, Best Practice or Best in Class.

We work with our clients to develop an action plan around each area with the goal to move the area to the next level of proficiency over a specified time period.

The GDO Model can be revisited at intervals defined by the client to re-plot the diagnostic functional areas to measure improvement, lack of improvement or a slip in proficiency to a lower level.

In summary, the GDO Model Diagnostic will provide your company with a new and groundbreaking strategic tool to measure the performance of its growth strategy.
