Announcing the 2008 Innovations in Learning Conference

The 2008 Brandon Hall Research Innovations in Learning Conference will take place September 25 and 26, 2008 at the Fairmont San Jose, in San Jose, California; with a pre-conference day of workshops planned for Wednesday, Sept. 24.

The theme of this year's conference is "Get your head in the clouds." Why clouds?

  • Tag clouds, which are synonymous with Web 2.0 technologies.
  • Cloud computing, which refers to accessing shared computing resources
  • Many original ideas come from innovators having their heads in the clouds

We're not inviting you to come daydream. Instead, this event will provide you with actual skills you can apply to advance learning within your organization.

The 2007 Brandon Hall Innovations in Learning Conference was a huge success. The feedback from the more than 400 people who attended was overwhelmingly positive. So, we're hard at work planning our 2008 event. See what attendees thought of last year's conference.

Conference sessions will focus on new trends in learning including podcasting, social networking, games and play, blogs and wikis, new collaboration technologies, video, innovative hardware, mobile learning, and instructional games, to name just a few.

The 2008 Innovations in Learning Conference will again play host to the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards ceremony. Winners of the 2008 Awards will be announced on September 25. The Awards ceremony will mark the 14th year in which Brandon Hall Research has been recognizing the best in innovative workplace learning.

Registration for the 2008 Brandon Hall Innovations in Learning Conference will be available soon.
