A couple of days ago in New Jersey, there were UFO sightings. Believe me, it’s not an invasion. The aliens are actually here because they want some of that Federal bailout money!

I was thinking . . . aliens aren’t so dumb. We could all learn a lesson from them. Government is doing (or at least “thinks it is doing”) all it can to boost the economy. Shouldn’t we all reap the rewards? I mean, it is capitalism and free enterprise. We all strive to get government dollars and we all know that the fittest survive. Let’s strive to get money for our companies. Let’s strive for each of us personally.

I am amazed that about $500,000,000 (that’s half a billion to those who can’t count zeros) is spent each year by government to fund companies for their corporate training efforts. How many of you have cut back your training departments for lack of funds? Wouldn’t an extra $1 million – even $100K – be a nice shot in the arm . . . and help to keep your job?

Aliens aren’t so dumb. Their free enterprise mentality states that if they can get a better deal on earth, why hang out on Mars.

And speaking of aliens. . .

. . . AIG, which already received $170 billion in taxpayers’ money, paid $165 million in bonuses. But they say the bonuses are justified because the company made an extra $170 billion last year!
