Excellence in Learning Awards Kicks Off for 2006

SUNNYVALE, Calif. – Brandon Hall announced the start of the 2006 Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards program today. Companies both large and small around the world are invited to submit innovative learning entries. Individuals in the learning field are also invited to serve as volunteer judges.

The following categories have been created to recognize organizations for their courseware, live sessions, technology, and case descriptions:

  • Custom Content category
  • Live Online Learning
  • Learning Technology category
  • Learning Case Studies category

“The awards program gives organizations the opportunity to see how their learning efforts stand up against others. It also gives all of us a chance to see the cutting edge,” said Brandon Hall, Ph.D., CEO of Brandon Hall Research.

The deadline for entries for the 2006 Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards is April 21, 2006. To submit an entry or apply to be a judge, visit http://www.brandon-hall.com/awards/awards.shtml.

About the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards

Each year the Brandon Hall Excellence in Learning Awards program recognizes the best in innovative corporate learning. In 2005 a total of 210 entries, representing 16 countries, were submitted. Each entry was evaluated by at least four reviewers from a pool of 479 independent judges. The Awards judges included instructional designers, professors, consultants, and training professionals from 47 countries. In 2006 Brandon Hall Research in partnership with VNU will honor the winners at a ceremony on October 24 at the 2006 Training Fall Conference & Expo.
